Our name and logo

Viking Outdoors™ and the Viking helmet and mountain-and-helmet logo designs are trademarks claimed by Viking Outdoors LLC in connection with its goods and business. The ™ symbol identifies a trademark claim and does not represent federal registration.

We do not grant permission to use our name or logos on merchandise, packaging, advertising or websites in a way that infringes our rights or falsely suggests our sponsorship, endorsement or affiliation. Request written permission before using our branding commercially unless the use is otherwise permitted by law. This notice does not restrict truthful reviews, lawful references to our products, fair use or other legally protected uses. Third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Product use and outdoor risks

Camping and outdoor recreation involve changing weather, uneven ground, fire, falls and other hazards. Users are responsible for selecting a suitable location, monitoring conditions, supervising children and following the instructions and warnings for each product. These responsibilities do not relieve Viking Outdoors of duties imposed by law.

Read the product instructions before assembly or use. Follow the model-specific pressure, load, setup and care limits. Inspect the product before each use. Stop using equipment that is damaged, leaking or functioning abnormally, and contact us. Do not modify products or combine components unless compatibility is confirmed in the applicable instructions. If instructions are missing, unclear or inconsistent, contact us before use.

Tent, fire and carbon monoxide safety

  • Secure tents with the required anchors and guy lines, keep exits clear and monitor changing conditions. Move to a suitable permanent shelter during dangerous weather. A camping tent is not a storm shelter.
  • Keep flames, sparks and heat sources away from tent fabric, bedding, clothing and inflatable equipment. Do not assume a product is fireproof or has a wind or snow rating unless a specific rating is expressly documented for that model.
  • Never operate generators, charcoal grills or unvented fuel-burning heaters inside a tent or enclosed vestibule. Carbon monoxide can be fatal. Do not use fuel-burning portable heaters or lanterns while sleeping in a tent.
  • A stove opening or stove jack alone does not establish safe stove compatibility. Do not install or operate a stove unless the written instructions for both the exact tent and stove expressly permit the combination and all installation, clearance, ventilation and operating requirements can be met. An open window or carbon monoxide alarm does not make an unsafe setup safe.

Inflatable furniture, beds and pumps

Inflatable beds and furniture are not flotation or lifesaving devices. Do not use them on water. Do not place infants to sleep on inflatable mattresses, beds, sofas or cushions; these are not safe infant sleep surfaces. Keep children away from pumps, valves, cords and packaging unless appropriately supervised. Use only compatible pumps and charging equipment, follow the specified inflation pressure, and do not rely on automatic shutoff to select the correct pressure. Stop using or charging a battery-powered device if it is damaged, swollen or overheating.

Responsibility and legal rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Viking Outdoors LLC is not responsible for loss or damage caused solely by misuse, failure to follow instructions, improper setup, overinflation, overloading or modifications outside the product's documented intended use.

This notice is not a blanket release of liability. It does not exclude responsibility for defective products, inadequate warnings, our negligence causing personal injury, fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. It does not disclaim implied warranties, reduce an applicable written warranty, restrict statutory remedies or require you to give up legal rights.

Product-specific descriptions and warranties, applicable store policies and mandatory consumer protections continue to apply. Contact us about a defect, safety concern or claim with your order number and a description of the issue. Reporting a concern to us is not a condition of exercising rights provided by law.

Updates

We may update this notice and will show the revised effective date. Changes do not retroactively reduce rights or promises associated with an earlier purchase.
